It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lurline Jordan (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Taylors, South Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Wilson Vaughn and Luther Austin Vaughn; and her siblings, Charles Vaughn (Kat), Miriam Walker (Wansley) and Ruth Jones (Perry).
She is survived by: her children, William Lamar Jordan (Deborah) and Carolyn Jordan Moore; her grandchildren, Jennifer Stipp (Derrick), Bridget Baker, William Jacob Jordan, III (Stephanie), Claude "Trey" Love Moore, III and Mary Carolyn Gilkinson (Josh); her great grandchildren, Tyler Stipp, Bailey Baker and Wesley Jordan; and her husband Bill. She is also survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Furman University-Reverend W.J. Jordan Sr.
