She is survived by: her children, Carl Godfrey III, Gaye Godfrey Watson and Brad Godfrey; her grandson William Watson; her great grandchildren, Henry and Margret Watson; and her stepdaughters, Kelli Leblanc (Joel Leblanc) and Christine Crist (Earl Crist).
Her family asks that instead of flowers to please make an offering in her name to the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Greenville S.C.
