She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Barbour and Zelma Martin Barbour; her granddaughter Ashley Marie Van Pelt; and her brother Larry R. Barbour. She is survived by: her husband John Van Pelt; her children, Janet Van Pelt (Mark Jones) and Mark Van Pelt; and her grandchildren, John Trenton Van Pelt, Nicole Rene Van Pelt, Mallory Leann Montgomery, Emma Grace, Ethan Rodriguez and Quinn Rodriguez. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (906 SC-14, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
