He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy Hensley Cooley; his parents, Lewis David and Louise Gresham Cooley; his grandparents, Oscar and Greer Gresham; his son Lewis Brian Cooley (Chris) of Simpsonville; his stepgrandchildren, Patrick Cox (Ashlee) of Fountain Inn, Lindsey Sill (Scott) of Simpsonville and Nicholas Cox (Wimberly) of Fountain Inn; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Dylan, Marzelleigh-Ann, Lilla and Charlie; his siblings, John Douglas Cooley (Molly) of Waterloo, Leon Cooley (Carole) of Fountain Inn and Nancy Brown of Fountain Inn; his half-brothers, Marvin, Lloyd, Oscar and Roy Cooley; and his niece Rebecca Cooley Peden.
