It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Elliott Beal of Simpsonville, South Carolina, born in Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marjorie B. Rhyne, James E. Beal, Thelma B. Tallent and John F. Beal. He is survived by: his wife Lou Rhyne Beal; his children, Susan Bradshaw (Scotty) of Simpsonville, SC and Bryan Beal (Beverly) of Lincolnton, NC; his grandchildren, Addie Finch of Greenville, SC, Ben Beal (Jessica) of Charlotte, NC and Bayley Stidham (Andrew) of Mount Pleasant, SC; his sister-in-law Jan S. Beal; and his niece Ann Snead.
