She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sims and Gertrude Williams Sims; her sister Willie Jane Craddock; her grandson Steven Bostic; and her stepsons, Carl, Till and Bill Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Everett (Ted), Maxie Smith (Anne), Jimmie Gibbons (Don), Linda Scheibler (Rawl), Brenda Kayse (Chuck), Mary Frances Frye, JoAnn Hicks (Ron) and Kenneth Butch Collins (Janette); her daughters-in-law, Carol, Mary and Patricia Collins; and her sister Grace Thomason. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
