Joseph Samuel Cox Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Samuel Cox (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cullen and Thelma Bishop Cox; his daughter Alice Diane Cox; and his siblings, Lewis Grady Cox and Barbara Jean Moore.

He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Jerome Keith "Jerry" (Rhonda), Joseph Samuel II and Phyllis Jeanene; and his brother Ted Cox (Trudy). He is also survived by three granddaughters, three great granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville Shriner's Hospital for Children.
