He is survived by: his children, Scott Johnson of Piedmont, Mindi Howard of Powdersville and Brooke Varner (Cris) of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Landice Baldwin (Kaitlyn), Hunter Varner and Riley Varner; his great grandchild Winsley Pilgrim; and also David Rye of Ventura, California.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
