He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louella Thornton Johnson and John Kenneth Johnson; and his brother-in-law Gary Jones. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ledford Johnson; his daughters, Jennifer Mary Reynolds (Robert) of Grand Rapids, MI and Melissa Ann Johnson Sculley (Douglas) of Grand Rapids, MI; his sister Judith Ann Jones (late Gary) of Port Huron, MI; his grandchildren, Caroline Cecilia Reynolds of Grand Rapids, MI, Robert Jackson Reynolds of Grand Rapids, MI and Lily Cecilia Sculley of Grand Rapids, MI; his nieces, Cheryl Kaufman and Michelle Jones of Marysville, MI; and his close friends, Bruce Lindke, Tiffany Shelton-Harkins, Scott Hamilton, Elizabeth "Betty" McCarthey, Moses, Libby and Charlotte.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bob and Susan's Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan in Bob's memory.
