He is survived by: his children, John Henry Cook, Jr. of Greenville, Velda Cook, Stella Hill McBee of Piedmont and Julie Cook of Simpsonville; and his siblings, Alfred Cook, Roy Cook of Simpsonville, Shelly Garrett, Mamie Grayden and Linda Bobo of Simpsonville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
