He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Marilyn Dennen and Thomas Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Fitzgerald; and his children, Kathryn Smith (Robert), Theresa Ellis (Douglas), Amy Heitz (Chris), John Fitzgerald (Michelle) and Timothy Fitzgerald (Robin). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
