He was predeceased by: his wife Mittie Jane Allen Howard; and his parents, Perry Howard and Beulah Pennington Howard. He is survived by: his children, Terry Howard of Fountain Inn and Cindy Howard Davis (Lynn) of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Mindy Whitmire (Robby) and T. J. Howard (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Addyson, Grayson, Raelyn, Blakely Howard, Trip and Turner Whitmire; and his siblings, Shirley Berry, Dianne Hamby (Larry), Evelyn Knight and C. E. Howard (Betty).
