It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Purvine (Simpsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Manly Brown and Bessie Holcomb Brown Davis; her siblings, Pichard Brown, Robert Brown and Shirley Praml; and her children, Gina, Todd, Rick Purvine and Floyd Purvine.
She is survived by: her brother Mack Brown (Elaine) of Fountain Inn, SC; her nephew Steve Brown (Summer); her children, Robert Brown, Erin, Clarksville of Tennessee, Phil Prifold (Esmaraldo) and Paul Maddalena; and her nieces, Kathy Brown Creswell (Ken) and Lisa Prifold Giuliano (Jonathan).
