He was predeceased by: his father James Henry Sibley, Jr.; his sister Bessie Sibley; his brother-in-law George Williams; and his grandchildren, Andrew McClure and Baby McClure.
He is survived by: his children, John Sibley (Kimberly), Todd Sibley (Jennie) and Angela McClure (Randy); his siblings, Benny Sibley (Susan), Henry Sibley (Martha), Dorothy Williams and Cindy Sibley; and his grandchildren, Alex McClure, Joshua McClure, Brian Cheek, Matthew Cheek, John Sibley II, Anna Sibley, Gabby Sibley, Justin Sibley, Jeremy Sibley and Emma Sibley. He is also survived by "Papa" to his grandchildren.
