He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Davis and Elnora Shumate; his adoptive mother Minnie Pearl Davis Henderson; his wife Yolanda Clark Henderson; his daughter April Henderson of Simpsonville, SC; and his siblings, Donna Shumate of Laurens, SC, Eula Boyd (Casper) of Fountain Inn, SC, Avis Shumate of Greenwood, SC and Mike Shumate of Laurens, SC. He was also cherished by three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
