It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Balcombe Vaughn (Simpsonville, South Carolina), who passed away on March 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Grady Balcombe and Ruby Nell Spoon Balcombe; her son Robert Owens; and her siblings, Michael Balcombe, Larry Balcombe, Charles Balcombe, David Balcombe and Lounette Barrett.

She is survived by: her fiancé Phillip Barnes; her son Anthony Owens; her son-in-law Scotty Owens; her sisters, Darlene Hudson (Eddie), Kathy Lyles and Louise Trammell; and her father-in-law William Freeman.
