With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Sides (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sides and Ethel Hendrix Sides; his brothers, Eugene Sides and Freddie Sides; and his sister-in-law Carol Sides.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sides; his children, Lynn Coggins (Michael) and Scott Sides (Jaclyn); his stepson David Davis (Wendy); his grandchildren, Kinsey Coleman, Austin MacDonald, Caroline MacDonald, Jimmy Davis, Ashton Davis, Parker Sides, Grace Sides, Lakin Coggins and Lauren Coggins; and his siblings, Geraldine Holshouser, Bill Sides, Johnny Sides and Dot Gregory.
