He is survived by: his wife Dr. Barbara Floyd; his children, James Floyd Jr. (Belinda) of Greer, SC, Norman Floyd (Marsha) of Manchester, TN, Kimberly Floyd of Greenville, SC, Javonda Floyd Jones of Lebanon, TN and Dr. Brittanie Floyd of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Dr. Jeremiah Floyd (Clara) of Bethesda, MD, Joseph Floyd (Mildred) of Greenville, SC, Johnnie Floyd of Laurens, SC and Dr. Michael Floyd (Monica) of Townsend, TN; his mother-in-law Willie Mae Brown; and his sister-in-law Grace Burns (David) of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
