She was predeceased by: her parents, Shufford Poole and Gertrude McCraw Poole; and her siblings, Robert Miles Poole, Dr. Edgar M. Poole Sr., Hazel Poole Goudelock, Delia Poole White, Charles E. Poole and John T. Poole.
She is survived by: her husband Joe B. Herlong Sr.; her children, Joe Herlong Jr. (Darby) of Lugoff and Lynne Waldrop (Dale) of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Salvatore J. Lombardi, Grace Waldrop, Connor Waldrop, Douglas Bliss (Adam) and Annie Kate Herlong; and her siblings, Mary Ann Poole Clary and Jimmy S. Poole (Janice). She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
