It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Powers (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on April 30, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Turner Powers; his daughters, Lynn Gibbs (Mike) of Simpsonville, SC, Libby Keller (Joel) of San Diego, CA and Laura Rewis (Hank) of Fountain Inn, SC; his grandchildren, Laura Beth Medley (Brock), Spence Gibbs (Dawn) and Sawyer Rewis; his great grandchild Layton Powers Medley; and his siblings, Nelta Posey (Phillip), Kenneth and Wayne.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Simpsonville or Furman University.
