He was predeceased by: his parent Paul Sanders; and his spouse Glenda C. Sanders. He is survived by: his parent Lois Dixon; his daughters, Allison Smith and Beth Jackson (Steve); his grandchildren, Ashley Sanders, Keeley Smith, Wil Smith, Cory Jackson (Kristin), Cameron Jackson and Maddison Jackson; and his sisters, Barbara Jane Terrapin (Fran), Loretta Harley and Delores McIntosh (Norwood).
