It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henley P. Woods Sr. in Simpsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouses, Kathryn Langston Woods and Claudell Beckler Woods; and his siblings, Murry Frank, John T., Jr., Willie Belle Wilson and Evelyn Grace Neal.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Lyndal Masters (Glenn) of Rocky Face; his son Henley P. "Chip" Woods, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Gail Williams Woods of Simpsonville, SC.; his stepson Randy Beckler (Tammy) of Dalton; his daughter-in-law Beth Phillips (Richard) of Dalton; his grandson Matthew S. Woods (Rose Bachman) of Charlotte, NC.; his stepgrandsons, Mark Beckler (Greta) of Dalton and Bryan Beckler of Dalton; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Will, Charlie, Jackson, Lyla and Jeb Beckler; and his great grandchildren, Kathryn and Reed.
