He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martha Westmoreland Ball; his parents, James Cecil Ball and Mabel Marie Jones Ball; his sons, Larry Jacob Ball (Angela) and Alan Michael Ball (Deborah) of Hickory Tavern; his grandchildren, Benjamin James Carter, Michael Harvey Ball and Lily Jayde Ball; and his siblings, James Lee Ball (Cathy) and Linda Tomaszewski (John).
