He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Mae Backes; his wife Renate F. Belonus; and his brother Ronald Burgun. He is survived by: his son Frank R. Belonus; his grandchildren, Justin Belonus, Kayla Belonus, Bianca Walters, Chelsea Walters, Brittney Ashley and Sky Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Maia Walters, Mason Hayes and Jayden Ashley.
A full military Honors graveside service will be held at M. J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC 29621 on July 10, 2020 at 3PM for immediate family only, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
