With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geoffrey R. Phelps of Simpsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bowman-Phelps; his children, Antione D. Bowman of Simpsonville, Julian C. Bowman of Simpsonville, Dartanion Evans, Richard Craver and Ashley Williams of Chicago, Illinois; and his brother Marsean Mikel. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
