He was predeceased by: his wife Bettie Sue Bordell; and his parents, Frank Bordell and Mary Pospisil Bordell. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Outfront, Starbucks, Panera Bread and Outback; his children, Ann Marie Bell and Douglas Bordell; his grandchildren, James, Grant, Ansley and Lauren; his sister Marie "Babe" Austin; and his nephews, David and Paul Austin.
