He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cowan Hanks and Letha Hanks of Honea Path; his wife Anne Coleman Baird; his brother Dwight Hanks (JoAnn) of Camden; his cousin Pat Griffin of Honea Path; his daughters, Lisa Hanks Bollinger (David) of Green Creek, NC and Angela Hanks Heggie (Chris) of Hickory Tavern; his grandchildren, Michael Cowan Bollinger and Ella Grace Heggie; his nephew Marty Hanks of Lugoff; and his nieces, Nicole Hanks Brown (Brandon) of Mooresville, NC and Missy Baird Ferrigno (Mike) of Florence. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Parkinson's Foundation, or charity of your choice.
