She was predeceased by: her parents, W. V.'Bill' Campbell and Ione Taylor Campbell; her siblings, Thomas, John Henry, Edwin, Billy Campbell and Virginia Campbell Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Norman Smith, Warren Templeton, Margie Campbell and Kathryn Campbell.

She is survived by: her son Dr. Michael'Mike'G. Thackston (Dianne) of Lilburn, GA; her grandchildren, Erin Thackston (Colin Thon) and Daniel Thackston; her great grandchild Thomas Gordon Thon; her siblings, Rev. Taylor Campbell (Joyce) of Greenwood, Cecil Campbell and Mary Jane Templeton of Spartanburg; and her sisters-in-law, Debbie Campbell and Ann Campbell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
