She is survived by: her children, Butch Johnson, Brian Johnson (Donna), Bruce Johnson (Judy), Michael Johnson (Charlyn), Donna Brashier (Danny), Brenda Johnson, Janet Thompson (Steve) and Nancy Garrison (Randall); her stepson Robbie Bowie (Tracie); and her niece Melinda Hernandez. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
