Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (111 Hampton Ave, Greenville, SC 29601). A burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (1 Pine Knoll Dr, Greenville, SC 29609). During the COVID-19 shutdown, he honed his skills in woodworking, creating cherished pieces for his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eddie's honor to Sara Collins Elementary school or St. Mary's Catholic School.
