She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Dupont Allen; her parents, Henry Armstrong and Freddie Jewel Storey Armstrong; and her brother Henry Armstrong, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Chris Allen (Martha), Susan Hunnicutt (Larry), Nancy Newsome (Linwood) and Paul Allen (Marisa). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lee Road United Methodist Church or to the charity of one's choice.
