She was predeceased by: her husband James Lewis Cox; her parents, James Almond and Noette Hawkins Yeargin; and her brother Alton Yeargin. She is survived by: her children, James G. Cox (Brenda) of Simpsonville and Rachel C. Hart (Greg) of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Jessica Hart, Chris Cox and Ashlyn Cox; and her great grandchildren, Eliza Cox and Easton Cox.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Five Forks Baptist Church (112 Batesville Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
