He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Charles and Lois Kelley Stone; his son Donald Rudolph Stone Jr.; and his brother Kenneth Jessie Stone. He is survived by: his spouse Cathey J. Stone; his daughter Laura Suzanne Stone-Bolden (George); his grandchildren, Carol Nicole Stone-Nelson (Shane), April Noel Stone-Mucci (Reggie), Jessica Elaine Stone-Seawright (Timmy), Brian Austin Powell (Stephanie Ann) and Cortney Summer Powell-Holloway (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Blayne Isiah Stone, Layla Claire Seawright, Hagen Stone Holloway, Rowan Robert Holloway and Lakelyn Annalise Powell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home (1150 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
