She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton "Bo" Burgess and Essie Lee Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Sherlyn Vaughn (Scott) and Brent Hudgins; her granddaughters, Karis Hudgins and Piper Hudgins; and her sister Dottie Hudgins (Jim). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
