He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Clayton Easter, Sr. and Mattie Lee Bagwell Easter; and his siblings, Barbara Miller, Phillip Easter and Becky Lindsey.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Easter of Simpsonville; his daughters, Dana Tumlin (Ashley) of Simpsonville and Kathy Ballentine (Bryan) of Simpsonville; his grandchildren, Preston and Grace Ballentine; and his siblings, Claude Easter of Hamilton, MS and Betty Valentine of Fulton, MS..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Simpsonville United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
