He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Whitney and Katie Johnson Whitney; and his brother John Whitney. He is survived by: his spouse Andrea Whitney; his son Robert Whitney (Kalyn); his granddaughters, Magnolia, Ruby and Ivy Whitney; and his sister Karen Watts (Tim). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
