He is survived by: his mother Wilma Lester Scruggs; his wife Peggy; his children, Megan Jones (Casey), Christian Barfield (Steven) and Tatum Gainey (Michael); his grandchildren, Camden, William, Masey, Bryson, Emaline, Rylynn, Aubree and Hart; and his sisters, Donna James, Rita Purvis and Carol Gilchrist.
