He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferry Barber and Sophronia Bowman Barber; and his siblings, Marion Barber Todd and Ferry Barber, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Merritt Barber of Simpsonville; his children, Leeann Lewis, Ray Barber, Jr. (Molly), Stuart Barber (Kim) and Evelyn Daugherty (Mike); and his siblings, Donald Barber and Ann Gaines (Max). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
