He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Shelton and Mary Redman Shelton; his wife Lillie Mae Shelton; and his son Charles "Chuck" Shelton, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Gail Johnson (Toby); his sister Velma Robertson of Buda, TX; his grandchildren, Matthew Shelton Chance Johnson (Aleigha) and Lillie Beth Johnson; and his great grandchild Rileyanne Johnson.
