It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Virginia Doan (Simpsonville, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Coker and Mary Coker; her husband William E. Doan; and her brothers, Claude Coker, Jr. and J. T. Coker.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Doan (Tricia), Brad Doan, Lynette Stanley (Wayne) and Tammy Holtzclaw; and her grandchildren, Amy Carver (Josh), Timothy Mills, Brittany Sprayberry (Justin), Drew Doan (Amanda), Sydneye Lavern (John), Kristi Doan, Bradley Doan (Brittany) and Lauren Doan. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
