He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dean and Daisy Dean; his son Chuck Dean; and his brothers, Bobby Joe Dean and Floyd Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Reggie Dean (Kim) of Gray Court and Cheri Marler (Chuck) of Laurens; and his grandchildren, Justin Dean (Stephanie), Matt Dean (Mary Beth), Taylor Dean, Sarah Yeargin, Stephanie Yeargin, Samantha Yeargin (Damioni) and Russ Marler (Courtney). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cannon Byrd Funeral Home Chapel (1150 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Laurens County at 1304 Springdale Dr, Clinton, SC 29325.
