She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen N. Best; and her parents, Clifford Wayne Valo and Margaret Lena Shere Valo. She is survived by: her son Mark Best (Katie); her grandchildren, Emma Best, Luke Best and Evan Best; and her siblings, John Valo (Mavis) and Janet Ditmanson (Mark).
