She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Ballard and Evilee Martha Thomason Ballard; and her siblings, James Ballard, Jr., W. Riley Ballard and Katherine Gault.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Glenn Fleming (Katherine) of Simpsonville and Barbara Lee Higdon of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Angela Tollison (Kevin), Michael Lucas (Grace) and Aaron Lucas (Nancy); and her great grandchildren, Matthew Tollison, Whitney Tollison, Glenn Tollison, Viola Lucas and Hunter Ellis Lucas.
