He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pastor Martha Garrett of Fountain Inn; his children, William Garrett Jr. (Kim) of Chesterfield, Pastor Anthony Garrett (Dawn) of Roanoke, Anita Garrett of Waverly, Jennie Powers of Waverly and Ophelia Hatch Jackson of Waverly; and his siblings, Lester Jones (Mattie) of Petersburg, William L. Jones (Mary Jane), Ruth King (James) of Waverly and Lisa Mack (James Lucas). He was also cherished by grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
