She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Perry Rhodes of Simpsonville; her parents, John Gideon and Lucille Babb Putnam; her grandson Brian Holcombe; her sisters, Barbara Abercrombie and Claribel Jewell; and her pet Chipper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pippa Holcombe (Ken), Patty Jo Onodera and Alison Bruce (Rick); her grandchildren, Logan Harrell (Ashley Whitener), Richard Bruce, EvyAnne Cantrell (Lucas) and Max Koffskey; and her siblings, James Putnam and Johnnie Hipps (Henry).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church.
