Betty left this world on February 25, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Perry Rhodes of Simpsonville; her parents, John Gideon and Lucille Babb Putnam; her grandson Brian Holcombe; her sisters, Barbara Abercrombie and Claribel Jewell; and her pet Chipper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pippa Holcombe (Ken), Patty Jo Onodera and Alison Bruce (Rick); her grandchildren, Logan Harrell (Ashley Whitener), Richard Bruce, EvyAnne Cantrell (Lucas) and Max Koffskey; and her siblings, James Putnam and Johnnie Hipps (Henry).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fletcher Funeral Service (1218 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pisgah United Methodist Church (1719 McKelvey Rd, Fountain Inn, SC 29644).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church.
