With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Dodd of Simpsonville, South Carolina, born in Natchez, Mississippi, who passed away on July 25, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Carlyle Frank Dodd of Simpsonville; her parents, Jessie Cecil and Lenorah Lamb Geoghegan; and her daughter Teressa Bailey. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Gibson (Carl) and Kenny Dodd (Brenda); her grandchildren, Lisa Gibson, Carla Williams (Jeff), David C. Dodd (Christina), Michelle Powell (Joel) and Nicole Dodd; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Clay, Kassidy Williams, Aubrie Jones, Carlyle, Leila Dodd, Cody, Stephen Breeding and Cheyanne Magaha.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association, 123 West Antrim Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
