She was predeceased by: her parents, J. E. Foxe and Hazel Foxe; her husband Julian K. Burgess; her sister Christine Mihocka; and her son Michael K. Burgess.

She is survived by: her sons, Joseph (Joe) and Samuel Burgess (Sam); her daughters-in-law, Amy, Gilian and Betsy; and her granddaughter Chelsea.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to Meals on Wheels of Greenville or the Greenville Humane Society.
