He was predeceased by: his spouse Bobbie Jean Bridwell Hudson; his parents, Barney Hudson and Lettie Bishop Hudson; his son William Ray Hudson; his siblings, Fred Hudson, Robert Hudson, Milford Hudson, Maybelline Steading, Etta Godfrey and Mildred Byars; and his grandson Brandon Ross.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Ross of Greenville; his sister Florence Smith of Greenville; and his close friend Thelma Bridwell of Wellford.
