He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Hill Nicas; his son George Allen Nicas; his parents, George Nicas and Kallerroe Nicas; and his sister Joanne Georgeson.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Nicas Widener; his granddaughter Anna Bunch (Jason); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Luke; his grandson Daniel Widener (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Parker and Jake; his granddaughter Elizabeth Hager (Kenny); his great grandchildren, Haylee, Gillen and Lucas; and his granddaughter Sarah Widener.
He served in the Army from 1955 to 1958, where he made significant contributions to his military associations.
