He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb William Mauritz and Esther Goldberg Mauritz; and his sisters, Molly Hanford and Linda Thaw. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Francis Mauritz; his sons, John Mauritz (Marianna) and Bill Mauritz (Leah); and his grandsons, Austin Mauritz (Bethany) and Jake Mauritz (Sara Ann).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Five Forks Baptist Church (112 Batesville Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681).
